SRA LAUNCHES SERVICES FOR REMOTE CONFIGURATION CHANGE MANAGEMEnt

LEVERAGES NOVA FOR AUTOMATION OF ITIL SERVICE DELIVERY

San Jose, California - May 09, 2011SRA OSS Inc, a wholly owned US subsidiary of Japan based SRA Inc. today announced new services for remote configuration change management in partnership with nSolutions Inc. SRA OSS will use nSolutions NOVATM products to automate delivery of these Remote Infrastructure Management Services (RIMS) within the ITIL framework.

Remote Infrastructure Management (RIM) is a cost effective alternative to in-house Infrastructure Management. However outsourcing does not solve the three major challenges in managing infrastructure operations – managing change without risk, assuring security and enforcing compliance. With the added complexity due to virtualization and the frequency of changes needed to assure business service delivery, RIMS has to be based on automation and control driven by visibility into configurations in real time with an understanding of the business services impact of any changes. Automated Remote Configuration Change Management is the only way to lower the costs of operation and assure availability, security and compliance with operational policies based on best practices.
